Return and Refund Policy

Overview

Our return and refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of goods are exempt from being returned, including:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable digital products (eBooks, PDFs, etc.)
  • Some health and personal care items
  • Opened or used software, CDs, DVDs, or other media
  • Magazines, newspapers, or other periodicals

We also do not accept returns for intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids and gases.

Return Requirements

To complete your return, you must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, only partial refunds are granted. These may include:

  • Books with obvious signs of use
  • Opened media such as CDs, DVDs, or software
  • Items not in original condition or damaged for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often a processing delay before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at sales@multilinebooks.com and send your item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed or mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning an expensive item, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
